Destiny was great. I just wish I knew the hotel was being remodeled before booking. Gym was unavailable. Hall ways were being worked on so going by with our luggage was not the best but over all it was okay.

The staff was quite unfriendly. The lady with glasses who was on duty on Thanksgiving Eve was cold, unsmiling, and not helpful at all. If she continues to work there, I definitely won’t stay at this hotel again. Additionally, the hotel charges $15 per night for parking, while the Hampton Inn in the same parking lot offers free parking — which is extremely annoying

Beautiful hotel, easy check in. On my floor there was a large carpet being replaced and huge area of the carpet missing. But other than that a very nice place to stay at.

The first room we were given at the farthest away from the front desk had a TV that did not work. Tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. Had to grab our belongings and hike back to the front desk. Second room which was above the room we had initially been assigned had another TV that didn't work. .We were given a third room and in the middle of the night the bathroom floor was flooded and my husband almost fell. The sprinkler head was leaking

We had an amazing stay! Everyone on the staff was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We loved being able to check in early, and the continental breakfast was delicious. The room was super clean, and the hotel’s location was perfect—just a short drive to Legoland and the outlets. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

The front desk was inviting and answered all questions. The room was roomy, clean, arranged well, kitchenette had whatever you may need if used, Bathroom and shower clean. Towels smelled fresh, yep, we smelled them. :). Beds were sleep ready. Slept well, a take me home type mattress. Quiet rooms. did'nt notice other noises. The 6-9 am M-F breakfast was on point for the get up and go person. Hours change for weekends. Parking is accessible Hotel in good area.

The night shift *in training* blonde girl gave us such a hard time checking in. She never welcomed us in and when asked for a manager. She said she was alone, with a sign next to her stating "manager on site 24/7".Very miserable and ugly attitude, showing signs of incompetence when the tap to pay wasn't working. Hire staff that are kind and smile, and welcome you instead of finding problems with no solutions.

This hotel is very run down and in terrible condition. There was stains all over the carpeting through out the hotel, including in our room. The shower head was leaking and spraying water everywhere. There was stain of things (?) on the walls that could have just been cleaned off that were not. The furniture was all dinged up and in bad shape. The worst part is it had a very musty/moldy smell in the room. The beds were comfortable and there was one person at the front desk who was very nice and that helped with the stars on this.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, both at check-in and in the breakfast area. The free continental breakfast was surprisingly good — fresh, well-stocked, and even included carnitas, tortillas, and a waffle station. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so parts of the dining area were under construction with sticky exposed flooring, which made getting around a bit awkward. The room itself could’ve been cleaner and had some ants, though we only noticed as we were leaving. Free parking and a great location close to Legoland, downtown Carlsbad, and lots of shopping made it convenient overall. Pool was nice. Family friendly hotel, for sure.

Hotel is being renovated and we were placed in the back of the hotel near the construction. Noise wasn't too bad, but there was construction debris and tools everywhere there was also lots of construction materials in the parking lot which made parking much more difficult. Inside the dining room there was also construction going on which just makes for a less than ideal experience.

Very nice place inside and out. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Great breakfast, free parking, very short drive to shopping and dining options. Will definitely stay there again when we're in town
