The accommodation at Victoria Lodge Motor Inn & Apartments was okay overall. The apartment itself was nice, but a few things weren’t working properly. One of the lights didn’t work, the dishwasher was rusted and unusable, and there was only one air conditioner in the living room for a two‑bedroom apartment, which made the space unevenly heated.
The biggest issue, however, was with the booking process. I had booked through Agoda and even called the property five days before check‑in to confirm the reservation — which they did. But when I called again on the day of arrival to inform them about a late check‑in, they told me there was no booking under my name. Even after I explained that they had confirmed it earlier, they denied it and told me to sort it out with Agoda. I even asked if I could book directly with them if they had availability, but that was also refused.
After nearly 1 to 1.5 hours of back‑and‑forth calls between Agoda and the Motor Inn, Agoda finally confirmed that the room was indeed booked and that I would be able to collect the key. It was far too much hassle, especially when you’re travelling and already on the road.

The "little house" was just perfect after a long day of travelling. Bed was comfortable and the spa bath was a welcome bonus.

Great room and spacious. A very large and clean bathroom and shower as well and comfortable beds. A simple hotel room but very clean and comes with free parking. Close to town and lots of eateries nearby
