Great nights sleep, staff were lovely and helpful

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals at the attached waterfront restaurant were fantastic. Room was updated/well maintained and daily cleaning was offered. Walking distance to beaches, jetties, information centre and shops.

Myself and partner stayed 4 nights in a king Seaview room ( room 33 ) the view from the room was lovely looking out over the pool to the harbour. The room was comfortable a little out dated but clean on arrival My partner found the bed slightly uncomfortable but I was fine , they probably do need to be updated , unfortunately it doesn’t have a balcony as such but big sliding doors so you could place chairs at the doors to sit and enjoy the ocean views The only real problem we had was that our room was only serviced once on our last nights stay which really it wasn’t service even then and only after many trip to the reception to inform them that once again it hadn’t been cleaned I had to each day go down to reception and ask for clean towels and the basic supplies The ladies in reception were lovely and very apologetic that the room hadn’t been cleaned Lovey Larny from reception offered us complementary desserts due to the lack of cleaning of the room The hotel is in walking distance to the main shopping area and across the road from the harbour We enjoyed our stay and all the staff in reception were lovey and definitely a credit to the hotel But I think the hotels cleaning staff certainly need to up their standards of basic service of rooms as this was a REAL let down specially with the prices of the rooms over the Christmas break But in saying this …. yes I would recommend staying at this hotel As it’s in a Great location
