I’ve stated a handful of Motel over the years. I’m not expecting the Ritz Carlton going in. But I do usually enjoy them for a safe environment, friendly staff and clean building in a budget. In fact before coming here I’d been at another Motel 6 on the coast and had a pleasant stay. When I got there I admit I was tired and still needed to get my dogs and luggage from the car. I was a bit shocked that the office door was locked at 7pm and I could only talk to the staff through the security window. The friendliness I’m usually greeted with was lacking and felt l felt like being checked in was more akin to being spoken to in Helvetica. Got my key card and was told my room was on the second floor. Not usually and issue though I do have asthma. The stairs were very steep and trying to get up them with luggage and two dogs was a challenge. I teetered a couple times and was concerned I might fall. Got to the top with everything and then… the key didn’t work. I called the front desk and was greeted with the same level of warmth and disinterest I was checked in with. I was a bit elevated at this point since again, tired, check in had felt very weird, there were some sketchy people loitering, and again the stairs issues. I was told I had to come back to the front desk and no one could come help me (very dissimilar to my other stays with this chain where everyone has always been glad to help). Smelled like pee and Marijuana. Shower wasn't cleaned. I've seen better beds along side the road, it was so worn out you could feel every lump and it had a sinkhole from where everyone slept. Big hole in the wall behind the mirror

On or about October 18 2025 as I have stayed here for the past five days. I’ve noticed that the housekeepers have been misunderstanding me like they don’t know what I’m saying when I know they do and also when I told them to clean my room they didn’t and then when I called down a couple hours later, they said that I told them not to clean my room and then after cleaning my room, October 21, 2025 I noticed a bolt loosened on table that wasn’t loosened before and hot water wasn’t working so I checked out.

There is only 1 reason why I gave 4 stars. There is 1 person who works in the office, they are shorter with curly brown hair and almost always wears a hat. They are always extremely rude and dismissive and i found it to be extremely disrespectful.

The staircase to our room was broken so we had to walk hallway down the motel to access stairs to our room. The motel 6 across the road looks much nicer.

Staff treats you with dignity. They are super friendly and will give you the extra blankets or towels you need. I felt safe walking my dogs. Building is very well lit at night. Lots channels on Smart TV. Clean and comfortable.

It's motel 6! You can always rely on motel 6 to be as cheap as the nasty hotels but much nicer by comparison. Don't waste your money on no name dirty bedbug hotels! GO TO MOTEL 6! their WAY better!

There was a pool, didn’t use it, the motel 6 across the way doesn’t have that option. The neighbors were being rather loud but eventually quieted down. Wish there were amenities like shampoo, etc. Requested extra towels in the room but that wasn’t an option. Had to collect at front desk. Not bad tho.

The air conditioning didn't work in my room and the lights seemed to only work when they felt like it. Quite a few sketchy people hanging around and people up talking and smoking all night. You get what you pay for, but I still feel like this place was expensive for what it is. Easy access to the highway and some decent places for food/coffee nearby are a couple of nice things.
