The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and we both slept good. We had a good breakfast and a nice talk with Arlene the host, who was very interesting and knew a lot about the area.

The house is in excellent conditon with mementos of its past and Arlene is a provides lively conversation on the history of the surrounding area. The Spurs and Lace is in close proimity to unique shopping, dining and Garden of the Gods. A very enjoyable stay.

This is a very unique stay. If your into history, stories, intelligent conversation and delightful filling breakfasts, then this your place. It is historical. Some cool things are listening to a Victorola at breakfast, talking with a local host, and looking at all the collected history on the walls.
