The breakfast was incredible. Fresh, hot homemade baked French toast, pistachio chocolate cake, fresh fruit salad. Arlene is an amazing cook and a fascinating person.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and we both slept good. We had a good breakfast and a nice talk with Arlene the host, who was very interesting and knew a lot about the area.

Spurs and Lace was a wonderful place to stay. The charm of the building and Old Colorado City cannot be beat. In addition, Arlene, the proprietor, is an amazing person. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with her.
