    Kingston hotels are my choice to go when i go to soi 11. But i was dissapointed this time. After renovation of grand president it is evident they made the big old rooms into smaller rooms with bathroom. So the rooms are very small. The view is exceptional. Safety is good. But rooms are very small. Pool area is shabby as it is blocked from one side Air doesnt pass properly and when i was there even in extreme heat the pool water was cold. Sound insulation is bad you can hear tv playing in other room. The tv beside my room was on all night and day. I think the room was empty i called up reception but they told me there were guest in the room. How come tv playing loud volume all day and night if room is occupied. The receptionist didnt help. Shower water seeps in through the door into the dry area of bathroom due to space between door. It is good for couple

    Soi 11 is an amazing location. Everything is on your doorstep. This hotel is clean, comfortable beds, great pool area with lovely staff. I've just rebooked to stay there again on my return to BKK. To me it's been 4 & 5*. My favourite hotel in Bangkok.
