Wonderful old Lodge with great ambiance. Had a glitch on check-in, but staff quickly remedied the situation and gave us a generous compensation! Lots of hiking trails in the vicinity.

The kids loved playing on the grass. We all did the rainforest hike. So beautiful. Also there are interesting berries called thimble berries that helped the kids carry on through a 4 mile hike.

A classic old lodge where you want to slow down and soak in the nature of the Olympics. Room was a bit dated (that's the point of a place like this) but it was comfortable and we had quiet night's sleep. Great hiking trails abound some starting just steps from the Lodge. Our big disappointment was the very mediocre food in the restaurant.
