    Loved everything about QT Bondi. Parked overnight, easy check in, staff friendly and efficient, large stylish room, comfy bed, great shower, and I could see the beach view from the balcony - down the road and across the street. Do yourself a favour and book in! I’ll be back 😊

    Ruined my 1st night at Bondi beach & left the following morning. I arrived late afternoon after travelling from interstate, immediately went for a walk and a swim. Got back & no hot water. Had to go downstairs to reception as there are no instructions on the phone as to how to call reception. Nothing could be done, apparently it was ‘working ok’ although staff member agreed water was only lukewarm after coming up after me having to leave the tap running for 5 minutes!! Hello this is Australia we have a water shortage. Woken just after 8am next morning by Jackhammers and concrete saws. It’s surrounded by construction hence my photos showing what was outside my window. The fixtures on the room are getting old, king size bed was very soft, perhaps a little too soft and one side had a sag in the bed. I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels through work etc and this definitely is not 5 star as claimed. If you’re tall, I’m over 6’ and the shower is a problem as it was at my nose height and as it comes out of the ceiling had to bend over to get wet. Mrs Bakers in same complex has the same problem as it was same designer/builder that did both. The bathrooms are almost identical. I rang Mrs Bakers as I considered moving there until I saw photos. At Qt the staff were nice about the issue with hot water, however I got the feeling they were ‘toeing the company line’. My guess is that, like the fixtures, the hot water system that does the whole complex with multiple businesses is either getting old or like the bathrooms poorly designed. You only get one chance to make a good impression and the Qt brand failed abysmally.
