Staff were really helpful. Room was nice and dark for sleeping with good blackout drapes. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable. Used the sauna which was very relaxing. Partner used the gym discount and was very happy. Great restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

At center of the city, close to everything. Parking is a few minutes away in city garage, costing 160kr for 24 hours. Street parking nearby kr15 for 2 hours, and Free 6pm to 9am. Great breakfast!

We stayed one night and it was ok, would not say it’s worth the price. Very outdated in general, breakfast had different choices but for me as a vegan and gluten-free a disappointment. As a suggestion make vegan/gf pancakes, have premade oatmeal instead of offering to make it in the microwave (taste like poop), candles at the tables for cosyness AND switch out the plastic bowls and bigger cups for tea, would make the experience much better. The staff seemed very friendly, big plus for animal friendly hotel and garage (because it was negative 20 outside) just be careful, the garage is tight!

BW Malmia was great choice for use while staying in Shelleftea because of location. Staff was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very good. Room was hot, however, due to very high local temps. Could be noisy at night in the town square in front of hotel.

I got a wrong information about the first bus to the Skelleftea airport from the reception! They told me that the bus will leave 04:45 and I wrote it up while the receptionist was looking. The first bus to the airport was in reality 05:20.So I had to stand outside in -6C over a 1/2 hour! The hotel was closed for me as I had to leave the key-card in the post box ...

Originally when I got in my first room was very small, tidy, but a little old and dirty. I could not picture myself staying in that room so I asked to be switched. I got upgraded to a suite that although the furnishings were old was really nice. Very very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was under renovations but the food was good. Not gourmet but solid. My impression of the area was that all rooms would be pretty similar in style and furnishings so I went in with that expectation. Proximity to the downtown area (like every hotel) was really close so that was nice. I would stay there again but I’d request my same suite as this last time for sure.

Nice hotel in the city center. Nice sauna with hot tub. One thing missing was a gym but you can you gym located in the hotel nearby. Friendly staff and free coffee at the reception. Breakfast could be little bit more better but you'll find there all the basic food.

The hotel is located right in the city centre, which is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel however is very much in need of an update. Everything looks a bit old, especially the rooms look untouched since the 1980's. Was good for one night on our way from Lapland to the south.

Fair enough for a business trip. Old hotel/premises. Gym is in another hotel (200m). Breakfast was satisfying. Only negative side was that the room doesn't have an air condition. And even though it wasn't hot outdoor, the room got a bit more than warm during mid June.

A very small room, clean and recently renovated. After being in the room for about an hour, a member of the hotel staff just unlocked the door witout knocking and walked into the room. The furnishings are meager; no side tables for the beds for example. If you are in Skellefteå for more than one night, there are many better options for more comfortable rooms.
