Sunscape Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Spa by Hyatt

Well the hotel is really nice and a great location. Drinks are all branded such as names etc. no straws with drinks though, the rooms are a bit dated for a Hyatt hotel and the week prior we stayed at the Hyatt Dreams Vista which was very modern and had a higher level of premium drinks such as Grey Goose etc. The food at the sunscape was very good. Could do with a few more umbrellas on the beach as the sun is very hot 🥵 but overall a very nice hotel and Jorge on reception was amazing and really helpful as they do not have a hospitality room if your checking out late. Oh we love the Candy Shop..

Horrible experience during check in, seat and wait, takes hours to get a room and you have to come and check with front desk if your room is ready (not like other hotels where you get text messages) and front desk personnel are not friendly. One of them offered me a phone if I wanted to cancel my reservation however they would not give me any refund. Food was good. Bar selection is very limited, almost no premium drinks/alcohol. Staff is very friendly except spa staff where you get attacked multiple times a day to sign up for spa service. Restaurants food was great. Pools a small and crowded. Resort is way different than what they used on their website pictures.
