    Had a fantastic stay at the hotel for 6 nights. Love the location - it’s a relatively safe community with lots of cafe and restaurants nearby and only 5-8 min walk to Tube station. Room is clean and v helpful staff. They even text me for earlier check in once my room was ready on the arrival day. Would definitely recommend!

    Room is small. Bathroom is small too. Suitable for small built people. Decent breakfast spread. Corridor is dimly lit. Depends on which room you are allocated, some rooms require climbing up and down stairs

    Great location. Impressive Victorian hotel within walking distance from South Kensington Station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the bar was lovely and breakfast was extremely good in comparison to other high end hotels. The room was small but nicely decorated. I appreciate the quality of the linen and all the little things like nespresso, biscuits etc. Nice soft towels and decent toiletries are also appreciated. I'd stay again but if I was with someone else I'd prefer a bigger room and a.king size bed. The bathroom was tiny. Perfect for one but not to share.

    Our stay in this hotel got off to a bad start as we had booked a superior double room. On arrival we were allocated room 320 facing a lane and with only sufficient wardrobe space for an overnight stay and not five days. We spoke to the reception staff and were told that although we had booked three months earlier, room 320 was allocated as some people were overstaying their booking. I found this intolerable as in my view an over stay should be asked to make way for new confirmed bookings. I made my displeasure known to Shahid on reception and he worked tirelessly to secure a better street facing room with a large wardrobe albeit for the final three days. Ig not for this chap our stay for our anniversary would have been ruined. Breakfast needs a little attention but reasonable value. Policy around overstay needs reviewing from those who write the rules
