At the last minute I decided to stay overnight in Greensboro and chose this hotel. It’s in need of updates and repairs. It all seems to be minor/cosmetic. While I was focused on price, this met all the requirements. Safe and clean. If you want top notch you have to pay more and this is not it. For the one night I stayed it was perfect. Sheets were clean, bathroom was clean. Towels were clean. Area appeared safe as there are other hotels around. The location is great. It’s in the neighborhood of a few restaurants and off of a main road. The staff were nice and helpful. The lock on the door needs to be repaired but the deadbolt worked great. The light switches appeared old and need to be repaired but lighting was adequate. The bath and shower could stand upgrades but they did the job. Some bad patch jobs were on the walls but I slept well without incident. A refrigerator and microwave was in the room. Only the refrigerator worked but I was told I could use the lib y microwave which I did. Internet/wifi was great. If you want the best this is not it. But it’s adequate for what you pay!

I arrived early & was told room was not ready she was kind and allowed me to store my bag. I grabbed lunch & came back. During check in was told it would a 100 deposit and it will be back on my card in 3 to 5 business days. Wasn't expecting to spend 100 but fine. Get to room key don't work. Came back down and she reprogram it....I try again and it don't work.She cam upstairs and again it ain't work.We happen to see the handy man and he said battery on door is no good.She took my keys and informed me she was going to come and give me new keys. I feel asleep and she never came.That evening I came down to leave for event it was a whole new person there.I let her know what happened she said I will be here tonight and let you in.I arrive that night well after midnight and it was a different person night auditor.I tell her what happened so she gives me another key. I go try my key again it ain't work..I go get her and I guess she used a master key like everyone else and let me in.I sleep wake up for breakfast same thing next the manager had to let me in.He apologized said I can have a late check out which ain't do anything cus I had a train to catch.Fast forward to Sunday.I noticed I did not get my 100 back I call they lady said she could not find my name or my stay and even said I stayed at wrong hotel. Lol. Like I'm dumb..when I gave her my agoda booking it appears. She claims funds was released and it's my bank. This place really need better communication and a better maintenance team. What could had solved it all was switching my room.I won't return
