    Very disappointing stay — far below expectations Unfortunately, my stay at Hotel Le Dome in Brussels was very disappointing. The hotel feels very old and badly in need of renovation, and the facilities are extremely basic. The lift was not working properly, which was particularly inconvenient. There was also a strong smell of food in the corridors, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. Although the staff were polite at times, I did not find them particularly helpful or respectful when we raised our concerns. The room was far too hot, and the air conditioning did not actually cool the room. It was mainly making noise without providing any noticeable cooling. The shower head was also in very poor condition and had sharp parts, which made using it uncomfortable and potentially unsafe. There was no fridge in the room, no toothbrush or other basic amenities, and overall the room felt very basic for the price. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. The property needs significant improvement and better maintenance, and the facilities and service did not meet reasonable expectations.
