About this cabin rental
**The reception in the general area of Naples, NY can be very spotty.** There are a couple of neighborhood dogs (a German Shepherd and a Chocolate Lab) that like to visit the property and look for there buddy that moved away a while back. They are very sweet dogs. The owner has assured me she will try to keep the dogs off of the property but I cannot guarantee they will not show up. If you go left out of the driveway away from Naples, NY and toward Italy Valley, NY there is about an eight mile stretch of road that has no service. If you go right out of the driveway toward Naples, NY there are no serious reception issues. I have never personally had issues with reception at the house or on the property (I have Verizon) however, I have had a couple workers tell me they had a difficult time with reception (they both had AT&T) while inside the house. It seems to vary from carrier to carrier. Also, please note the floors are uneven in some places and may not be suitable for those with mobility restrictions. This house is on well water and there should be some expectation of a sulphuric smell. Do not drink the water

Holiday house Basic Apartment 2a was a great little getaway. The location was convenient to many wineries and trails. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with necessities.

This little cabin was perfect. Booked for a long weekend with the husband and dog. The bed was insanely comfortable and the backyard and small creek behind the house were amazing for us with the dog.

House was neat and clean. Home was cold and musty smelling upon arrival.. We did find the air purifier and heating system was adequate but the musty odor remained so clothing actually took on odor. Nice location, clean and private setting.

The place was overall clean with attention to homey details. Heating unit was loud but kept warm. Only issue was lots of BIG flies in house….spent first night with a flyswatter killed about 30 flies
