Great value clean room outside the station, ideal for catching the early train. Bike storage provided. Very friendly and accommodating concierge.

It was cheap...and it showed. Ok for the price.

Great location. Spacious enough room. Staff were lovely.

The hotel is rather shabby, furniture barely holding together, towels rather moth-eaten and just generally run down. Rooms were basic enough, but did the job. Walls paper thin and nights could be disrupted by neighbours noise. The food wasn't great. Ate here twice, then decided to stick to sandwiches from a boulangerie. It was cheap, though perhaps they'd be better to spend more on the food and serve a better meal that was edible. I'd probably stay again if i was back for a few days on business....purely because it's cheap. But next time i'm in France my wife is joining me, and there's no way i'm bringing her here!

Clean and fresh bedding Town centre location, lowish cost. Double glazed windows to street.

Room was in need of complete modernising. Wallpaper coming off wall, ancient and worn fixtures and fittings throughout. Electric flex on floor of doorway to bathroom. Minimal breakfast.

' Vétuste ' hotel, but close to the centre of town.

Location near the centre. Bedsheets were clean. Very affordable. It was a roof over our heads for the night.

There was no reception- closed on bank Holiday. The room was smelly, we had to keep the windows wide open at all times, thankfully it wasn't raining. The carpet was dirty, the bathroom had no ventilation. I felt every spring in the old mattress, and the blanket was very thin. Very thin were the walls too - could hear everything in the other rooms: from farts and cough to other stuff... We were quite impatient to leave in the morning as soon as we could.

Good value for a big family needing a clean, convenient place to sleep.

The communication was great. The owner messaged and gave clear instructions where we were staying (annex hotel) and where the key was ahead of time. Breakfast was offered in advance too. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. The bathroom was huge and very accessible with hand rails. Decor looked fresh and clean.

It listed 3 double beds but there was 2 doubles and a single plus a cot (Which was adequate for our party). There wasn't proper curtains on the windows so it felt like people could look in from outside but we arrived late and left early so it was fine for a short stay.

you get what you pay for

friendly and helpful staff. the room itself was lovely although would have preferred another colour than the dark brown walls. having a proper shower would have been preferred but the deep bath and good warm water was great. having a kettle in the room was great, but cups, coffee/tea were absent. room was nice and warm and bed comfortable.

the noise! my room was opposite a shared toilet and I woke up every time somebody went in and flushed. the internal walls and noise from neighbours was horrendous and being woken by someone returning at 1.30am without consideration of the noise they made was not appreciated. the lighting in the room was not sufficient to work or do your makeup

Very relaxed atmosphere. Host, Benoit, was friendly and hospitable. If you are traveling by train, a perfect place to stay. Very reasonable prices for rooms and food.

attitude to customers. We booked a room, drove almost 200 kilometers towards the hotel, when we got a call back and were told that the room could not be provided due to the fact that someone had booked these rooms as well. So how could this happen if these rooms were available at the time of booking?

If you can’t find anything else in town…

good location by the train station and close to where I needed to be.

the noise. all the comings and going’s up the staircase could be clearly heard in the room as well as all the late night clean-up in the bar downstairs. the one chair and bedside table both had broken wobbly legs and could not be used. I had to show up at a specific time as there does not appear to a full time front desk attendant.
