Located on the outskirts of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park, Maenan Abbey Hotel stands on the site of an original thirteenth-century Cistercian monastery. Built as a gentleman's residence in 1850, the property features a magnificent galleried Victorian staircase and blazing winter log fire. While maintaining its historic traditions, Maenan Abbey offers all modern hotel facilities. All 14 bedrooms are en suite and are decorated in a style sympathetic to the period of the building. For dining, Maenan Abbey Hotel offers a combination of traditional Welsh cuisine alongside more contemporary international dishes. Ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible.
