Stunning location and views, warm and cosy cottage

Great location, short walk to the village and stunning views across the countryside. The cottage is so cosy and we had the best sleep in the comfy bed. Lots of birds visited the garden everyday. Parking right outside. The living room area was outstanding with huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. Beautiful sunsets

Only issue was that the bathroom was very dark and we couldn’t remove the lamp to replace the bulb, but this was a really minor thing in such beautiful accommodation.

Dreamy cottage with the best sunset views

The property was immaculate with lovely welcoming gestures. It was nicely decorated with nice decor. The grounds are beautiful, love seeing the animlas from inside the cottage, it was very well kept and the playground was a huge hit with my children.

Some facilities need an update ie. Shower unit and the bin situation its not close to enough but thats not the property fault but it left us with no place to get rid of rubbish on leaving day

it was good but we had a few niggles about it.

spacious & nice sunny room

noisy plumbing radiators noisy kept us awake during night. no shower mat. very slippery when showering. sofas too low to sit on comfortably.. lots of cushioned used we were told I freezer there so shopped for items that didn’t need freezer. when we arrived there was a freezer.0!

Lovely family holiday

I loved the location of it, the size of the property great for kids that want to run around and in the garden, it was really clean and smelt fresh and clean as well, a lovely hamper left for us when we arrived, would definitely stay again it was so lovely, it had everything you need and more, like a dishwasher, washing machine etc then games and dvds,ots of outdoor toys, then you have sheep kn the field next to you which is great for kids that love animals!

The only thing would be the pipes and the house settling kept me awake but I'm a light sleeper from having a baby, so just take some earplugs but still slept pretty good as the bed was super comfy!

Exceptional

Location: Away from the noise, surrounded by mountains on both sides, 1mile away from the beach, peace and quiet, yet not far from main road leading to town if you need shops, no through road so there is just you, nature and absolute silence. You have a parking spot just for yourself, so it's easy to load/unload when you arrive. Cottage: Spacious rooms, fully equipped :washing machine, dishwasher, pans, etc you even find first aid kit and salt in case you forget yours! Stunning view from massive widows in living room(on a clear day you'll see:sheep, dune, mountains and pheasants. Beds and mattresses first class, very comfortable, we slept like babies. Stunning wooden and stone features across house, good size beds, very warm home too. There are even emergency torches in case you need them. Lovely little touches here and there and moody lighting :candles/stars/Christmas trees. Garden: lovely space for kids to play, swings/climbing frame, football etc, make sure to take wellies in case it rain. There is small warkshop for kids too! They can sit there use paint/brushes, water. Our boys loved it! (bring waterproofs so it's easier to washem them of from paint after their play 😉) Hosts: We felt like at home, we've been greeted with a hamper with some local delicious juice as well as some healthy biscuits. We couldn't stop buying this juice as its something different, pure/natural and very crispy and you can buy it from local vineyard at Pant du. Biscuits were gone in seconds as our 3boys loved them as much. We got into some difficulties and John would helps us. Then 2nd time my car broke down and if it wasn't for him, his knowledge and the connections he's got, I would have been stuck. He spent his own time to help me out while his wife would get us some shopping! You don't need to say more but we can't prise them highly enough. Very kind and lovely people!

There was not a single thing we didn't like. Wait... Maybe rain for few days in a row 😉 but that's nature and you can't change it ☺

Mooi maar zeer gehorig huisje

Het is een leuk huisje in een mooie omgeving. Grote kamer/keuken, 2 grote slaapkamers en badkamer boven. Heerlijk zitje buiten met een fraai uitzicht.

De beschrijving naar het huisje was vanaf Caernarfon. Wij kwamen van een andere kant en daar er geen adres was hebben we behoorlijk moeten zoeken. Daar ik moeilijk ter been ben was ik blij met de slaapkamer beneden echter de badkamer bleek boven te zijn, terwijl we bij Booking in het Engels (ook in vertaling) lazen dat die beneden zou zijn. Daarom dit geboekt. Het blijft jammer dat er bijna nooit een plattegrond is en je via tekst en foto's moet zien hoe het is. We hadden nog geïnformeerd, ook over handdoeken maar geen antwoord gekregen. Beneden was wel een wastafel echter met 2 aparte kranen en geen mengkraan. Het bankstel mag wel vernieuwd worden want je zakt er helemaal in weg en komt weer moeilijk eruit. Heb 5 dagen op een keukenstoel gezeten. Ook de pannen want die paar die er zijn hebben allemaal een pfas bodem vol met krassen wat zeer ongezond is. Het is ook zeer gehorig in beide slaapkamers en beneden hoor je het kraken van de houten vloer. Het is een mooi huis, maar niet voor mensen moeilijk ter been. Er kunnen 5 mensen slapen maar je hoort alles van elkaar(hoesten, snurken enz). Voor 2 mensen zou het prima zijn.
