Amazing luxury hotel and well qualifies for it's 5***** rating. We have stayed in some of the most fabulous hotels and this is right up there with them. From the well appointed, well equipped rooms to the wonderful 9th floor restaurant where we ate last night. The only criticism is we didn't have a window table by the most breathtaking views, but I suppose we should request this. Today I sampled the most amazing Balinese full body and head massage in the spa followed by half an hour relaxing in the room with heated stone loungers with peach tea, water and biscuits. I really don't want to leave!

The hotel positions itself as a 5-star, but it is a bit outdated, and the walkway to the room to the elevator is quite long. At the time of my stay, renovations were underway. Overall, for Izmir, I understand it is one of the good options in the city center.
