Being basically the only hostel it’s good in may facets. Location is in the middle of all the bars, cafes and restaurants and by the main strip and close to key metro stops. Beds are good but relatively basic. The bunks have the charging outlet in an annoying location however even though we had curtains. I didn’t notice lockers. WiFi works but for some reason other networks nearby let you actually use WiFi really well. For example Google Maps doesn’t work at the hostel. It’s social without being crazy. Water shut off nightly around midnight which can be annoying to some. The staff is adamant you could only cook vegetarian food because meat and fish “smell,” yet the bathrooms always smelled badly so the argument there is weird. The woman who works the breakfast is awesome and fun and makes really cool things to buy. One guy who works isn’t very helpful. The owner is helpful but is bit quirky with answers. Book with sites other than Hostelworld so you don’t have to pay with cash. Only really bad thing is later in the week and weekends the club nearby plays music till 3 and earplugs don’t really help so unless you’re a light sleeper expect a challenge.

Real wibe of a home.. I stayed for two days the first day host (long haired guy) was very helpful and gave me all the help and guided me with ease. The facility was worth more than paid for clean towel.. Comfortable beds and pillows. I really like the vibes.. Only one minus the spectacle guys who at the counter at night very rude and intimidating.. Slamming things when we seat to eat in kitchen.

The hostel is a very short walk from the Alsancak station and the main shopping, cafe and bar area. This did mean that on one of the three nights I stayed, the noise from a nightclub was pretty audible.
The staff was very welcoming, and put on a big spread for breakfast (pay by koha) - I didn't actually partake - I slept in, had a date with an early train and then a croissant shop.
The bed in the capsule was very comfortable, and there were several shelves as well as a place to store my backpack. It's an oldish place, kind of quirky, but I liked it. Wifi was a bit glitchy, and a lot depended on which SSID I was connected to.
