    This is a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for—but overall, it turned out to be a pretty good stay. There are no elevators for guests (only for luggage), and the rooms are small and could definitely use some updating. It feels more like a motel than a hotel. That said, the location is great—central and within walking distance of the night market, bike rentals, numerous restaurants, and the riverfront. The room was clean and the gentleman at reception was friendly and welcoming. One feature that stood out and surprised me was the shower: strong water pressure, reliable hot water, and good drainage. This was our cheapest hotel during our month-long Southeast Asia trip, yet surprisingly, it had the most functional shower—even compared to much pricier 4-star hotels. Go figure. I would recommend this place for a short stay or as a simple spot to rest your head. That’s exactly how we used it, and it did the job with no complaints.

    Our king room was perfect for a budget hotel near the airport. Clean, good bed, quiet. Close to a bar for nightcap drinks, close to weekend night market. I would recommend this hotel for one night to start or end my trip.
