    Great location for a few days to relax and enjoy the pool, beach and Island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would defiantly return for another visit

    We booked 3 nights here hoping it would be good for rest bite. We weren't disappointed, and even extended!! The staff are super professional and friendly. All rooms are no more than 2 minute walk to the beach, we stayed in a 2nd floor double which was spacious inside and on the balcony. The bed was super comfy one of the comfiest I've slept on in Thailand. We loved the real community feel with the kids playing and families having fun. Theres 2 security dogs that sat with us every time we were on the beach. Sunsets are beautiful, and storms are fun to watch under shelter. Huge selection for breakfast. We wish we stayed longer.     Amazing view from the Bungalow, literally right on the beach! Beach was swimmable and I preferred it to the pool honestly. They cleaned the beach, too I only saw a few pieces of plastic. The local dogs that I’m assuming belonged to a staff member when they probably stayed in a bungalow in the completely dead season at first kinda annoyed me, but then grew on me. They kinda adopted us and the other people at the neighboring bungalows. But when one of them started barking at something at 5:45 in the morning I honestly didn’t enjoy going outside in my boxers to yell at dog #1 to stfu! But we did watch a lightning storm together on the beach so we kinda bonded after that. The staff was really great, except for the older lady that gave me the stink eye literally every time she saw me. Probably the GM or part owner idk. I get it, I’m not Muslim, but I respected your hotel and was a paying customer so maybe f*ck right off?!? Oh and I put up with the A/C not working the first night so just maybe you should have comped something because I couldn’t sleep the first night. Just a thought, and that’s hotel management 101. Stop judging me for my beliefs (or lack thereof) because I don’t judge you for yours! The only other gripe I had was that if the name of your hotel is the ‘Lanta Miami Resort’ and you are a dry hotel, if you don’t state that in bold letters in your description imo that is false advertising. Granted, I’m glad it wasn’t a douchey Miami style club scene, but still I think that’s messed up to call it a Resort and not serve adult beverages. Also you’re losing out on the best margins in your F&B program lol but whatever! I would probably go back but I would make a point to give the stink eye to the old lady 10 fold back to her while chuckling. What else you gonna do in that sitch?! 😆

    We had booked and paid via Agoda a Bungalow Deluxe. I had send them a mail 2 days for arrival if it could be a bungalow as close a possible to the beach since the resort is close to busy road and there is quite some noise in the night. However when we arrived they said that Agoda had made reservation for a deluxe room which is next to the busy road. When I showed that Agoda confirmed the reservation of a bungalow they said it was a mistake of Agoda. Also they said they did not receive my mail, you could see they were lying. They were totally not interested in helping to find a solution. They were constantly telling is was not their mistake and I should solve it with Agoda. After 2,5 hours discussing with them and Agoda we canceled the reservation and found an alternative. Still waiting to get my money back. In 5 weeks travelling through Thailand we have never encountered such an unfriendly staff. This is not the Thai hospitality that we are used to. Do not go there, there are much better places than this resort!
