Spacious clean rooms, huge swimming pool where you can actually do lengths. Very friendly staff!

We loved our stay in Tea Tree. Very peaceful, large room, big pool, friendly staff. Room cleaned and towels changed every day! Fast internet and large TV with Netflix we will stay here every time we are back in Phuket! Thanks

Very different from the pictures you see here. Unit 8 (suite) is not "newly renovated" but rather half-renovated 10 years ago, if at all. The management claims they are telling the truth because they recently painted the room and stuff. Yeah.. I see that the walls are clean... but come on. ● Mold and Pupa: (1) sofa in the living room, (2) dining table and chairs, (3) kitchen sink. • I stayed for 8 nights, and on the first morning, I asked them to take the cushions away from the sofa and dining chairs. I had to sanitize the dining table and chairs myself because my child has asthma. I was so disgusted when I saw all the pupa/remains underneath the dining table and chairs. After about 5-6 days, I was told that the cushions had been washed, but they were never brought back. I did not bother to ask because it was almost time to leave. • With all the cushions removed, I had to sit on the bare wooden surface of the dining chairs, which ended up tearing holes in all my pants because they had (slightly) protruding nails. • Every time I opened the kitchen sink cabinet for pots and plates, I couldn't bear the smell. So I repeatedly washed them before use. ● Rust and holes: (1) table and chair on the balcony in the bedroom upstairs, (2) small table in the living room. • I sat for just 10 minutes, and the rusty set left stains on my clothes. • The rusty legs and holes on the living room table made the unit look so cheap and ill-maintained. LeaksThe unit had leaking problems both outside and inside. You could easily see and hear water leaks on the outside walls as you entered the unit. Perhaps this is linked to the leaks on the stairs to the bedroom inside. No running on the stairs! Or you'll crack your skull! MosquitoesThis is Thailand. Of course there are mosquitoes. But you don't expect 10 new bites every morning in a "newly renovated" place. The windows are so old that insects come in and out freely everywhere. There were even tiny animal faeces in the bathroom and bedroom. I really hope they belonged to little lizards, not mice. ● Other issues • Sofa: Apart from the mold problem, two people cannot sit next to each other because you will slide down towards each other. There is hardly any support underneath, like a sinking boat. • Smell: The air conditioner smelled like somebody had been smoking in the room. It improved when the cleaning ladies sprayed perfume, but that is not good for a kid with asthma. • Bathrooms: Unlike what is shown in the photos, the bathroom upstairs was so dark because the window was covered with plastic that looked so cheap and eerie. The bathroom sink also did not pop back up easily. So we ended up using only the bathroom downstairs, and this one, too, was very dark with poor lighting. ● I appreciate the help from the staff and enjoyed the pool, but I do not plan to return to this accommodation. The management said, "if you check, we have very good reviews for the property, especially for the larger suites that you were staying in." I was trying to inform them about the gap between the details on Agoda and the actual guest experience, but I feel that they were not ready to face it. I hope there is room for improvement. For now, stay away from Unit 8, future guests.
