    It was overall an ok stay at best. It wasn't our first stay at this hotel in general but it was our first time staying there for longer than 1 night and we really looked forward to repeating the stay cause last time seemed like a good experience. This time there was really intense renovation happening on floor 5 of the older building and we were placed in a room on floor 4 which meant that for the first 2-3 days before we asked to be moved somewhere further away we had to listen to constant drilling and banging noise from around 10AM until 5-6PM. I understand that those are not silent hours but when you stay at a hotel, you generally want to be able to relax at all times and not just at night. It was really bothersome and moving us to floor 3 barely helped with the noise. For this inconvenience we got 2 soda drinks as free service. Not really sure whether the value of soda is equal to all the noise disturbance, which wasn't accounted for or mentioned anywhere when we were booking the hotel... On top of that, I am not sure if that is the problem for most guests but the walls are quite thin and we had a very loud neighbour who just loved doing whatever he was doing at insane volumes up until 2AM most of the nights. The room was kept quite clean and the cleaning staff were very lovely. However, there was a cockroach infestation problem and they would spray the room which left horrible smell. The bathtub in the bathroom surprised me cause it seemed kind of inconvenient (water kept spilling over the edges almost flooding the bathroom). Btw past time we booked this type of room, we had a shower stall. Breakfast was good! We only noted lack of desserts cause only pancakes and some kind of toast with jams were served but overall breakfasts were decent. The dinery staff were also very nice and friendly! The restaurant at the front was good as well. Their alcohol cocktails are pretty good and the food was nice. The hotel itself wasn't too crowded so there was plenty of room near the swimming pool at all times. Overall, the noise disturbance really affected our stay negatively and I don't think we will book this hotel again because it didn't seem the most accommodating or attentive to the guests' needs. I really think that if the hotel is renovating a floor and the management is aware that it creates noise pollution beyond that floor, no guests should be placed on a floor right under it and even another floor down cause there's no way to escape all the disturbance until late evening. I give this experience a max 3/5 and hope all the renovation work is completed asap.

    Breakfast is great value. Pool side balcony was the better room although it didn't have a hot plate for cooking, the street view room did. Bathtub shower, microwave, 2 key cards(handy). Pool, small car park.

    Service at reception- very dry and rude. I paid for half day extension & they wouldnt even extend it by 15 minutes. Not just the lack of accomodation but the way they talk. Staff needs to be educated on how to talk. Small rooms and beds. Not much options for breakfast but there are some halal options. Location is good but hotel is not good value for money. You are better of staying at Jomtien Thani, right next to it. It is 4 star but looks more like 5 star than this hotel anyday.
