    Lovely coffee shop before entrance.The northern local food at the corner Mahidol Rd, very delicious and cheap.The hotel surrounded by big trees that make you fresh and relaxed. there are swimming pool and small gym for workout but gym open at 11.00 a.m. quite late .Staff very friendly and attentive,especially a man who incharge at gym,he introduced me to use gym machine .

    There were so many things about this hotel that disappointed me, I had a hard time thinking of things that I liked about it afterwards. The rooms were old and dirty. I paid extra to have a “new room” but there was nothing new about it. Everything was old and moldy, and there were ants and cockroaches crawling around in the bathroom. There were no cupboards or closets so there wasn't any place to store your clothes or personal belongings. The walls were paper thin and you could hear noise at all hours of the night. It sounded like someone was stomping around above me and sliding doors open and closed during the night. No sound insulation whatsoever. The balcony was also not very pleasant or useful as there was no furniture at all on it, so you can't sit on the balcony or even hang your wet clothes out there. The rest of the place is kind of old and dirty. The pool water was very cold and the lounge chairs were dirty. The hotel staff only gave us one key card and wanted a 300 baht deposit to get a second key card. You also had to pay extra to use the hotel gym and pool towels, which I found kind of ridiculous. The breakfast buffet left something to be desired. We only tried it the first morning and opted to skip breakfast the remaining days. However, the lunch food you order off the menu was pretty good and very cheap, and they have a convenient QR code ordering system that allows you to get food delivered to your poolside table. There was also an automated beverage machine by the lobby that made good drinks. The surrounding area is not bad as the hotel is set off by itself on its own road and has a huge parking area. You can walk to the city wall in about 25 minutes heading north. There's a highway just to the south. I guess the hotel could be much better if the management decided to rennovate and modernize it, and if they didn't nickle and dime you for every extra feature. Honestly, I would never stay here again, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone else. I couldn't wait to get out of there by the time we left!
