    Stayed here with a friend in the twin rooms, it was clean and tidy and staff were helpful on arrival. Extended our stay with no issues. Beds were comfortable enough and far enough away from the bars to not be too loud late at night.

    There is a measure of safety I look for whe staying at a hotel. Asia does not have phones in their rooms. I know we all have cellphones, but, in a non English speaking country, being able to pick up the hotel room phone to call reception is needed. Also there are no extra locks on the door besides just pressing the bottom on the knob of the door. I, thankfully walk with a door jam. I just don’t feel it’s a place for a woman traveling alone. The location is very good and the place was always clean. The water pressure of the shower was low as well.

    Overall our stay was really enjoyable. Although because the cleaning ladies clean the room with open door and every night we needed to do a mosquitoes hunt to sleep well… overall room was very basic but a little bit more effort for cleaning would be appreciated as we had lots of sand in our room all the time. Overall it’s super close to the restaurants so you’re good. You will find coffee and toasts with jam every morning in the lobby to have something in your stomach. And the pool is the best part! It’s huge with 3 levels so we would defo stay here again!

    Worked out about 1500 a night. Room nearish and overlooking noisy road, noisy corridor with doors banging at all hours. I slept so little there, after 2 nights checked out and went elsewhere on the island. TBH you can do better for yer buck on Ko Tao
