Staffs are nice. Room is too small for three people peoples. Breakfast is ok. Same stuff every morning. Big ply for the late night snack n ice cream. I would consider it’s a budget hotel.

Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok is a true gem in the heart of Silom, and I was pleasantly surprised by how exceptional this property is. The hotel features a magnificent entrance and lobby, top-tier facilities, and rooms that are impressively spacious. I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious breakfast during the two mornings I stayed. The staff—especially the doormen—were the shining stars of the experience upon both arrival and departure. I deeply appreciated them taking the extra step to confirm with my Grab driver which airport and terminal I needed, proving that it truly is the small details that make all the difference. The location is superb. There is a Burger King and Starbucks right on the corner of the driveway as part of the Montien Mall, and plenty of bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hotel is situated right across the road from the Patpong Night Market, while the Sala Daeng BTS station is a 7-minute walk away, and the Samyan MRT is just a 5-minute walk. For those looking to exercise, Lumpini Park is only an 11-minute walk. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and carry only positive memories of this hotel. It is definitely on my return list for my next trip to Bangkok!

Stayed here over 15 times in the past but maybe because we booked through Agoda our welcome was poor. Room requested not available (double) so asked if we could upgrade, yes but would have to wait 2 hours. I then said I would cancel my booking and they could keep my money but would give a poor review, then a miracle happened! Room was now available. 2 hours wait for an ironing board but breakfast service was poor. Not welcome, unfriendly then to make things worse cockroaches crawling all over the bread and toast area. They did apologise but was the final straw! Standards have gone downhill. Gone are the days the GM Miss Doris kept a close eye on things.
