    This is for those planning a very short stay. Good value of money and nice staff.

    To start with, there were no complimentary toiletries such as toothpaste and a toothbrush, which is usually standard, even in the most affordable hotels I’ve stayed at across the country. There was also no complimentary coffee or drinking water provided. Lobby – The ambiance is decent, but the area was uncomfortably hot during our arrival, as the air conditioning wasn’t turned on. The ceiling is also quite low, which might not be ideal for those who are claustrophobic. Mobile signal fluctuates between LTE and 5G. Room – While I liked the layout, the cleanliness was very disappointing. There was visible dust on the appliances and shelves, and we even saw live cockroaches on the headboard and underneath it. The in-room phone wasn’t working, so we had to walk to the front desk, which was located in another building, just to ask for assistance. The first room we were given had an underpowered air conditioner and a fan, but it remained very humid throughout our stay. We later moved to a smaller room where the temperature was more comfortable and met my expectations. The television was outdated, a 24-inch non-smart HD TV with poor cable reception. It felt like watching an old analog set. Wi-Fi was usable, not fast, but manageable. However, mobile signal inside the room was is very bad. Staff – They were professional, courteous, and well-trained. Location – Jollibee is the closest restaurant, and SM City Iloilo is within walking distance, which is a plus.
