I had a wonderful stay at Thunderbird Resorts & Casinos – Poro Point! The hotel has excellent facilities, a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, and a great location overlooking the sea. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout our stay. The service was warm and professional, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend Thunderbird Poro Point to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great facilities, beautiful surroundings, and excellent staff. I look forward to coming back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't know if it's because it's a lean season but the breakfast buffet spread for the three days we stayed were a disappointing. There were more lunch service viands than breakfast viands. You'd expect weekend viands would be hotdog, corned beef, bacon but instead we got pancit, beef picadillo, and chicken adobo. That wasn't a fun breakfast buffet experience. Our CR exhaust fan was also not working (though part of the fault lies here with me because I forgot to raise this concern to the front desk) However, I would like to say that the staff over at Thunderbird are accommodating, kind, and thoroughly helpful. They get perfect marks.

We stayed here overnight with our family, and overall, it was an okay experience. The staff were definitely the highlight of our stay—they were friendly, courteous, and accommodating, and we really appreciated their excellent service. However, for a 5-star hotel, I expected more from the facilities. The property feels quite dated and would benefit from significant renovation and maintenance. Some areas also appeared to need a thorough deep cleaning and more attention to upkeep. While the service was great, the condition of the facilities did not quite meet the expectations I would have for a 5-star property. With some investment in renovations, deep cleaning, and general maintenance, I believe this hotel could offer a much better experience. Overall, the staff deserve recognition for their hospitality, but the hotel itself could use some much-needed TLC.
