    Loved the stay at Millennium Hotel. Good value for money and had everything we needed. As two friends travelling together, we booked a twin room and were pleasantly surprised as our room had two double beds provided. The room was spacious enough and bathroom was modern. Room was very tidy and clean, with a wardrobe, mini fridge, armchair, desk and a window overlooking the beautiful courtyard. The window opens for fresh air which we really liked. No issues with the AC and in-room amenities. Room service did an excellent job. Our only comment would be that on two occasions, our room was serviced very late around 4pm. We thought it would have been completed earlier. While our room did not have a mountain view, it was overlooking the courtyard which was just as lovely. As we stayed in spring, the trees were flowering. The courtyard was really well landscaped, had tables and chairs for lounging, and plenty of room for kids to run around. The hotel has a health club which features a gym, hot tub (spa) and sauna. The tub can be booked for an hour at a time by contacting reception, we found it was usually available and not busy at our preferred time. As it is by appointment and with a lockable door we didn't have to worry about being disturbed by other guests. It was clean and we liked that it was open air allowing for circulation in the hot room. Towels and bathmats were provided. Changeroom facilities included shower and access to the sauna. We opted for buffet breakfast which was simple but had everything we needed. Hot food such as bacon, grilled tomato, a small pancake maker, cereal, yoghurt, pastries and fruit. Also tea, coffee and juice selection. Omelettes were made to order and delivered promptly to our table. Restaurant staff were friendly and kept dining areas tidy. The hotel location is convenient to queenstown city centre by 10-15 min walk. We stayed on level 4 and found a back entrance which allowed us to exit the building on foot easily, instead of walking all the way to the main hotel entrance. It would be great if the hotel had advised us of this sooner. As with most of Queenstown, prepare for a hilly walk on the way back from the city. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Queenstown.

    Millennium Hotel was fantastic! Our room was spacious, very clean and had everything we need. All the staff we dealt with were lovely and helpful. It is 2 minutes walk to a bus stop that has a shuttle that takes you straight to The Remarkables. It was absolutely perfect for our snow trip. The best part was being able to use the jacuzzi which can be booked privately at no charge after the long day at the snow. We will definitely be back!

    The bathroom fan couldn’t be turned off manually, it was turned off 11pm at night and turned on 6am in the morning, the fan was very noisy, couldn’t get sleep, it was not worth to pay over $300 per night just allow your clients to sleep 11pm to 6am. It’s totally unfair to the customers, not recommended.
