    I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel due to multiple issues involving safety, maintenance, facilities, and customer service. Firstly, the TV remote control battery compartment was damaged and dented. This is a potential safety hazard, as damaged batteries can leak harmful chemicals and should be replaced immediately. Secondly, parts of the room flooring were peeling off. Unfortunately, I cut my finger on the damaged floor surface, causing it to bleed. This is a serious maintenance and safety issue that requires urgent attention. Another major concern was the leaking water pipe in the bathroom. Whenever the water was turned on, water sprayed out from the damaged pipe, soaking the entire toilet area and even my clothes. This clearly indicates that basic room inspections and maintenance checks are not being carried out properly before guests check in. The hotel also did not provide several basic amenities that are commonly available in most hotels, including toothbrushes, a water heater/kettle, extra tissues, and complimentary tea or coffee. The service experience was equally disappointing. During checkout, the male staff member did not ask about my stay or whether everything was satisfactory. I actually intended to provide all of this feedback face-to-face so the hotel could improve its services. However, the staff member appeared rushed, was not friendly, and displayed a lack of professionalism. Before I could properly share my concerns, he left the hotel and went across the road, making it clear that guest feedback was not a priority. In addition, the lobby was poorly lit and felt dark and uninviting. Considering the price charged, I expected a much better experience. In my opinion, Urban Inn, which is only a 3-star hotel, offers significantly better facilities, amenities, maintenance standards, and customer service at a lower price. Overall, this stay did not meet basic expectations for comfort, safety, or hospitality. I hope management takes these issues seriously and implements proper maintenance checks, staff training, and quality control measures to prevent future guests from having a similar experience.
