    I have stayed at many budget hotels and usually keep my expectations pretty low. However, even for the price this hotel was very disappointing. The listing on Agoda says that standard rooms come with windows. When we got there, we were told that only the deluxe rooms have windows. Our bathroom did not have a working fan, so the room was extremely stuffy at all times due to lack of ventilation. The (not working) fan was so dusty that we woke up each morning, and there was dust all over the floor of the shower. Additionally, the towels were extremely old and had many holes and stains on them. The shower faucet was covered with mold, and the sink faucet was detached from the sink. The outlets are controlled by the power in the room, which makes sense because it is an old building. However, we only had one working outlet and with the power turning off when you are not in the room, it is very hard to charge anything while you are away. It was very hard for us to keep our phones charged since there was only one working outlet and we had to share it during the times that we were in the room. The lift was broken for the duration of our 5 night stay. Finally, they charge for early check-in, even if your room is already ready when you get there. I understand that this is normal in many hotels, but it’s still disappointing because of how bad the rest of our experience was. Great location though.
