    We recently stayed at Resorts World Langkawi and, first of all, I have to say that the location and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful. I love the room, the spacious balcony, and the peaceful location. The staff were also super friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay, and we truly appreciate their hospitality. However, I really hope the management will seriously look into the overall condition of the hotel. The property is looking quite run-down and, in my opinion, is in need of a major renovation and upgrade. We were told that our room had been renovated, but unfortunately, it really did not look or feel like a newly renovated room. We also had a strange experience with our balcony. We went out for the Kilim Mangrove Tour, and when we returned, we found hotel slippers and a cleaning cloth left on our balcony, which was quite surprising. Despite these issues, we still had a happy and memorable time in Langkawi. We genuinely like this hotel because of its beautiful location, spacious room, and wonderful staff. It has so much potential! I sincerely hope the management will invest in a proper major renovation and bring this beautiful property back to its best. Thank you to all the lovely staff who made us feel welcome. We hope to return one day and see a refreshed and upgraded Resorts World .

    When you want to enjoy the beach and really enjoy the morning walk along beach book a room in here as sea view and forget the world.

    The hotel was okay compared to the others. The building looked aesthetic and had an infinity pool with the best view. But thats more or less all they had going for them. The standard room looked okayish but had a weird layout. You use the toilet in 1 room, wash your hands in the basin that was in the main room next to the kettle and amenities and then take a shower in a 3rd room. They only had a handwash in the basin in the main room and none in the shower. We didnt have an iron stand in our room as well. The worst thing about everything was that our toilet was leaking from below and it made a really bad smell. It made the washroom unusable and was really small to begin with. Complained about it twice or thrice but the maintenance guy just checked it and went away without doing anything. They didnt even change my room when I complained. The room cleaning was also okayish. Found a dead fly AFTER the room service. Weirdest thing is that you have to refill the water bottles yourself for the room and our room was sooo far away from everything. I found the staff a little rude. Any time you ask them for a favor they would smile and say the most meanest way to say “no”. Maybe my standards are high comparing hotels with other countries like Thailand but if they work on being polite and fixing customer’s problems, they can be the best hotel in langkawi
