    We got extremely lucky being here on a slow week so we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves!! Breakfast is a chosen entree then a buffet on top of it which was great, lunch and dinner were also both phenomenal. We were pleasantly surprised the cost of food and drinks were not as bad as the reviews make it seem. Very typical resort prices, about the same as an American meal would be at a nice restaurant. The staff was all amazing and so friendly. We felt like we were in a movie truthfully, chatting up the same staff daily and making friends. The island is gorgeous, the plunge pool was SO worth it, the wildlife is so peaceful (minus moody monkeys haha beware, give them space). We were to check out at 11 but paid a tiny fee to stay on the island until 5pm. They were slow enough that the manager actually gave us our room back for the day so we could relax and shower after the pool, free of charge! The staff all seem knowledgeable about the island and wildlife, the eco practices, etc. and will gladly chat about it all and answer questions. Best service hands down, 10 out of 10 we can’t wait to come back!

    Premium guest treatment, good service, friendly staff. Room clean, spacious, good views at balcony overlooking forest and river. Well structured programs hiking, forest trail/canopy walk, night walk and safari, river rafting with knowledgeable guide.

    Disappointed We even checked out 1 day earlier. We rather book another hotel in Kota Kinabalu for the last day than stay in this so-called 5 star resort…
