    We had a great stay at Villa Mercedes Palenque. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the pool is large and very nice for relaxing. We would happily stay here again.

    Wonderful hotel set in the djungle. Plants, trees, flowers everywhere. Easy access to the Palenque national park and ruins. The collectivos pass by the hotel. My room was spacious, had all I needed and it was clean. The hotel has two pools. The big one is perfect to relax at after a hot, sunny day. The only negative was the restaurant. It was huge and looked more like a school cantina then a restaurant. The bar was not cosy at all, it was located inside the cantina. The food that was served was ok according to mexican standard.
