Very quite place with beautiful surroundings with lots of flowers

Starling wifi excellent. Fridge in room a bonus. Bungalows spacious located in beautiful grounds. Owner kindly let us visit monkey enclosures. Very near ArcheologArcheological site and route to waterfalls.

Silicon drain plugs in shower would have been useful at nights

The owner is passionate about animal rescue and rehabilitation. Her English is very good so she's able to explain in detail about her monkey rehab facility. You're able to view (not touch!) the monkeys, and they're all there temporarily with the aim to release them back into the wild. She also has a bunch of dogs and cats that are the type that might struggle to find a home due to disability and such. It's really lovely to see. The room was simple and comfortable. Two double beds per room and a bathroom and AC.

This isn't strictly something I didn't like, but it's good to be aware that getting to the property from the main road takes longer than it looks like it would on the map, since the entire length of the road you turn onto from the main road is single-lane and unpaved. The road gets traffic due to several hospitality establishments, so you have to pull over to allow passing traffic and such. If you're looking for the place to stay to facilitate getting the Palenque archaeological site right for 8am opening, this location won't speed you up.
