It was my first time in Morocco and a local friend recommended this hotel. I don't know if it's new or if it was renewed, but it's very new. It has a retro-hip style to it. The facilities are very clean, the food was delicious, the room design and amenities are everything you're looking for (including full kitchenette if you feel like cooking something small), and the staff are very friendly and want to help with everything. Their breakfast buffet is hearty, and I had dinner one time as well, and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

it was a nice stay

We booked this hotel based on the glowing reviews on *** and Agoda, and the high ratings proudly displayed at the reception gave us high expectations. Unfortunately, what we experienced was the worst hotel stay ever. While the hotel looks modern and trendy on the surface, the good things stop there. From the moment we entered our room, the issues began. The corridor spotlights weren’t working, making the entrance to our room uncomfortably dark. Inside, we were greeted by a half-drunk bottle of water, only one teabag, two coffee pods — and no milk. Basic amenities were either missing or not replenished properly. We reported all of this to the reception. They apologised and said housekeeping would be sent up. We waited. No one came. We called twice — still nothing. We went down again and complained to the manager, who didn’t even get up from his chair and just kept texting the housekeeper on WhatsApp. He looked completely lost and apathetic, not at all how a hotel manager should act. Eventually, someone came in and swapped the water bottles and added more tea bags, but told us they don’t provide milk. The beds were also oddly changed from a double setup to singles. The corridor lights remained unfixed, the shower area had shoe marks and was visibly dirty, and the curtain in the room was broken and off its railing. We tried calling again for help — no one answered. Back down to the reception again. Another apology. Another empty promise. We waited the whole night and no one showed up. The next day, after yet another complaint, the lighting issue was finally fixed in the evening. But the curtain was still left broken. To make matters worse, after using the shower, the entire bathroom flooded — the walk-in shower leaks badly and water spreads all over the floor, making it nearly impossible to use the commode without stepping into a puddle. It was extremely inconvenient and unhygienic. The receptionist, ***, was particularly unhelpful. Every time we raised a concern, all he had to offer was a hollow “sorry.” He was more focused on checking in new guests than helping the ones already stuck with a terrible experience. Also, the room key card kept deactivating for no reason, forcing us to go back to reception multiple times just to get into our room. This hotel may look good in photos and has a modern design, but don’t be fooled — the service is beyond disappointing. Avoid this place if you expect even the bare minimum of hospitality. I would give it zero stars if I could.
