Gym needs improving to be listed as a facilty! Everything else was great.

I found a lot of the negative reviews are consistent with the issues. When I arrived, my toilet wasn’t working and the mechanism was essentially outdated and faulty. As I was been shuffled around to a new room, I found the staff member I was with fairly blase. When I did get relocated to the other room pros and cons included: Cons: 1. Super noisy - the walls are thin and you can hear everything. I felt like I was sitting on the bed with the people next door watching TV. The guy above was moving furniture around all the time, and you could clearly hear all the conversations going on outside and in rooms close by. I didn’t sleep well for the whole time I was there. 2. Very poor WiFi connectivity to the point where I just used my own data. I would basically say there is no WiFi - sounds like a reoccurring issue amongst guests but never gets fixed. 3. As with most hotel beds in Morocco - it is very hard and uncomfortable. 4. Bathtub filled up with water while I was having a shower. 5. AC doesn’t work - it was blowing out warm air - essentially there is no AC - I would hate to stay here in the summer when it’s hot 6. As your probably aware when you make the booking - it’s about 3 miles from the Medina but you can walk or take a taxi - it’s actually quite a nice walk heading to the new town. 7. TV doesn’t really cater for English holiday makers - so much so, there’s no point in having a tv. 8. I had an early start with a long days driving on my last day so I got to breakfast at 7am (the opening time) but the gate to the restaurant was locked. At this point I was by myself. Breakfast (the gate) didn’t open until 7.15am at which point there was about 30 people waiting. I was then stuck in a big queue waiting to get inside and ended up being late when I eventually departed. In saying that, one of the guests did start shaking the gate in frustration which did seem to get someone’s attention - who opens it up. Pros: 1. The breakfast was a lot more substantial that you get at other midrange hotels with a wider selection. 2. Even though the bathtub filled up with water - the actual shower was hot and of reasonable pressure. 3. Outside area and pool looked nice when lit up at night. 4. Free parking ( if you do have a hire car) Conclusion: I was travelling through Morocco so it suited my needs for the few nights I was there. It is what it is. I would not book as part of a package holiday or as my hotel accommodation as it could be the difference between a good or bad holiday, and clearly from the reviews - the issues are consistent but not being addressed in any way - which reflects on the attitude of the overall management. It could really do with a good overhaul.
