    This hotel offers a wonderful taste of old Casablanca. Its central location, right next to the medina and local markets, makes it an excellent base for exploring the city on foot. The hotel is older and full of character, which is part of its charm. It reminded me of the kind of place that captures the atmosphere of Paul Bowles' era—a hotel with history and personality rather than modern luxury. If you appreciate vintage hotels with a unique ambiance, you'll likely enjoy staying here. Those looking for contemporary facilities, however, may find it less suitable. The room was reasonably clean, the shower worked well, and the fan was sufficient to keep the room comfortable and helped keep flies away. There is also mini refrigerator in the room. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was enjoyable, especially the freshly brewed coffee. The café area are also great places to relax and watch the city go by. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to travelers who enjoy authentic experiences and historic charm. It may not be the best choice for those seeking a luxury holiday, but it's an excellent option for anyone wanting to experience the spirit of old Casablanca.

    PROS - As titled, it's located at a great location. 15 to 20 minutes walk from Hassan II Mosque and 8 mins walk from Rocks cafe. The host is welcoming. The property is old but maintained as a heritage property. Aesthetic. Rooms, sheets, pillows and bathroom were pretty clean. CONS- Double room is small. Very small. Don't go with the photos. There's an error where three beds are shown with a balcony when you specifically search for double room. You're not getting that because it's not a double room at all. So is the bathroom. 3ft.x 1.5 ft. Yes that's it. It's that small. Gloomy lighting. Windows open to the plumbing chase. So not recommended to open It's a little off from the main road where the cabs will drop off or pick you up from. Hotel didn't seem to have anyone to help with luggage and there's no lift. So if you have heavy luggage feel lucky if you get the first floor or else pack light. Finally if you're there just to sleep and don't mind using a very small space to take a shower, it shouldn't be an issue.
