    The breakfast was a bit of surprise. Not 5 star , but better than the average 3 star hotel. Lady at reception was happy to help with my visa for Vietnam

    We stayed 3 nights here on 2 separate occasions. It’s okay but for the price I would expect better. The bathrooms are mouldy and dirty, every room had a broken towel rail so now where to hang towels to dry, stained towels, one night we had no hot water etc. It just feels like it needs some renovation and a good clean. The breakfast buffet is average (food all cold as warmers weren’t plugged in) and both times we visited it was being used for Chinese tour groups so the breakfast buffet was chaos. Nothing awful just disappointed for the price. Location excellent and the desk staff try their best.

    This hotel is in a great location in the centre of town and has a dated but charming vibe with Art Noveau/Deco style lamps and a retro feel. I was disappointed though because I booked a, room with a balcony, it was more expensive than the standard room, and this wasn't provided. When I spoke to the staff (only one spoke a little English so this was also difficult) they said it was a mistake as the hotel has no rooms with a, balcony. I was unable to work out if this was correct or not from looking, but also unable to get back the extra money I had paid. My room was, large and spacious, but when I looked through the doors while the cleaners were working in the other rooms, they all were, honestly I don't there there is any difference in spending extra on the Superior Double because it's actually the same as the standard room. Otherwise the hotel was nice, the breakfast was interesting, the location was, great.
