    I stayed here for a night on a road trip between Bangkok and Siem Reap via Laos (due to the Thai-Cambodian borders being closed). My first impression was how interesting the layout was - the restaurant and check-in area on one side of the street and the guestrooms on the other. The restaurant served Lao, Thai and French style cuisine, probably the only restaurant in Champasak province to serve proper French cuisine. The duck was superb. The room was comfortable, with a comfy bed and separate entry room with a coffee table and seating area. Room had a shower but no bathtub. Hotel doesn't feature a swimming pool. Overall, a good stay and worthy of another stay in the future, although Champasak has several good options.

    It’s a very nice hotel with awesome staff. However, it would be challenging to sustain this niche hotel as there are not many tourists as compared to Luang Prabang.
