Elmomento Osiria Residence

I am definitely coming back to this place for my next trip in Busan. Everything is very clean and it was very comfortable. The view was stunning!

The facility is spacious, clean and we'll maintained. We did enjoy our stay. The Osiriya neighborhood is quiet and not crowded. It's also accessible to visit Busan attractions (15-20 mins drive). Faceless Check in could be a challenge. I was waiting for the message from facility in Agoda messenger. However, the message was sent to my phone via text message in Korean. I have been in touch continually with El Momento staff in English. Despite that, along message in Korean was sent via text message to my phone.I thought initially that it was some advertisement of some kind and ignored it. I called El Momento office number but no one picked up or replied messages for 15 minutes. I called Agoda customer care and got in touch with the Facility later. It almost took 40 minutes. It's my request: to intl guests, please send the information in English through Agoda messenger itself. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our holidays. There's a surfing beach just a km away from the facility (in fact, we could see it from our window) and some costal walking area. When we visit Busan again, I'd surely consider staying at El Momento.

It was a little confusing that this is not a hotel l, there’s no sign, and no one in the building or area knows about it. You get sent a code at check in time 4pm, which tells you which tall building to go to and how to get inside. It was a little unsettling not having anyone to ask questions or if there’s some issue, but Agoda contacted the staff and someone very kind came and helped me get the wifi working and told me the 8pm loudspeaker announcement was not an emergency just a nightly message to everyone in the building. So, if you can get past that, the apartment is so spacious and clean and full kitchen washing machine tv porch looking out at the ocean. Oddly the beds and sofa are not angled to have a good view, but the view is there and beautiful. It’s a tiny almost ghost town on the coast. There is a huge mall complex a block away and a theme park with rollercoaster that seems to have stopped running long ago. Quick taxi to the station and you can take a city bus and reach Haeundae beach within 30 minutes or the shin Haeundae ktx station in 25, or take the train every 11 minutes that just takes 5 mins to get to the ktx station. There are good restaurants and convenient stores, even an IKEA a block away. So…something for everyone. And for me it was the ocean view without throngs of people. There’s a trail to the temple that I wanted to take but didn’t have time. There is a tiny beach which has a ton of seaweed on it but you could move a little at the edge and enjoy a nice swim. There were a few fishermen and a signboard about a fishing experience program. Osiria is a sweet little place out away from the tourists. Despite that tinge of dubiousness about legitimacy, it’s a lovely place to spend a night (or at that price…a month?!)

We booked this accommodation for 5 people, but amenities were only provided for 4. When we requested an extra blanket, we were charged 20,000 KRW, despite the booking clearly being for 5 guests. Another major issue was the rubbish separation rules. Inside the room, there were many signs warning about penalties if rubbish was not sorted correctly. While basic rules are understandable, the number of warnings and fines made us feel uneasy throughout the stay. There were also notices stating that moving furniture could result in additional charges. Overall, there are far too many rules and potential fines, which made it difficult to relax and feel comfortable. This is not a suitable place if you are looking for a stress-free stay. For the same price, I would recommend choosing a different accommodation.
