Normandy was the destination of our first French holiday 40 years ago and although we have travelled through Normandy several times over the years this was only our second time for a long stay. It was lovely to revisit some favourite places and discover some new ones. Varaville/Cabourg was perfect for us location wise and the apartment was great. The views are stunning and we loved watching the shipping, the horses being exercised on the beach, the sunsets and the people collecting crustaceans from the balcony. The apartment is tastefully decorated and well provisioned. I especially enjoyed trying out my French with the impressive range of books on the shelves. We found some very good local shops and can recommend Pizzabella, just a few minutes walk away and the fruit shop that also sold cheese and local products. Our contact with Mickael on arrival and departure was easy. I would particularly recommend a visit to the British Normandy Memorial at Vers Sur Mer. The installation of the 1500 silhouettes of servicemen was very moving.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, immeuble calme appartement très propre très lumineux, refait à neuf avec beaucoup de décorations bonne literie. Très bien agencé, rien ne manque ce qui est rare. Merci aux propriétaires et a Mickael pour son très bon accueil. Et la vue est splendide...on en a pleins les yeux :-) Nous espérons revenir très vite.

Appartement très lumineux et bien équipé. Equipements sanitaires à revoir (apparemment prévu courant mars 2020). Situation privilégiée face à la mer permettant des longues balades. Beaucoup de choses à voir dans les environs (voiture indispensable). Location au 2ème étage sans ascenseur (parfait, mais à ne pas recommander pour personnes à mobilité réduite). Merci à Mr PENOT et Mickaël pour toutes les informations au préalable et leur gentillesse.

Tout est parfait: c'est très propre, les couchages de qualité, cuisine bien equipees, décoration simple et fonctionnelle . Et que dire de la vue, on a une carte postale sous les yeux dépuis le salon, la cuisine et la salle à manger. Des chaises longues sont prévues ainsi que des tables et chaises pour profiter du soleil sur un des trois très grands balcons . Les propriétaires sont très conciliants sur les heures de départ et d'arrivée ce qu'on a fortement apprécié. Merci à Mickael de nous avoir accueilli à 21h30. Le calme absolu que le bruit de la mer. Attention il faut une voiture pour faire les courses ou Merville plage en 40 min par la plage. Nous on a adoré ces 4 jours de repos au calme et au bon air, on espère revenir.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre long week-end dans cet appartement très bien équipé , au calme , face à la mer , au pied de la plage .... ici , le repos est assuré . Quelle belle plage de sable , la double exposition du balcon nous a fait bénéficier du soleil une bonne partie de la journée . La grande baie vitrée sur balcon offre une vue imprenable . La résidence est très calme et entretenue , le gardien est bien sympathique et accueillant. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation . Merci à vous

Nous avons passé 2 très bonnes semaines à Varaville, la vue depuis l'appartement est époustouflante et la piscine et la mer sont vraiment très proches. Le seul petit bémol se situe au niveau de la literie qui mériterait d'être changée, sinon l'appartement est tout à fait conforme à ce qui est annoncé, meublé avec goût et très agréable. Merci pour ces 15 jours très agréables et à bientôt

Emplacement exceptionnel, résidence calme et bien entretenue, concierge très aimable. La plage et la vue sont fantastiques. Nous avons profité de plusieurs couchés de soleil juste magnifiques. La piscine chauffée, très propre est très appréciable et jamais bondée. L'appartement est confortable et les deux terrasses vues mer permettent de profiter au maximum du cadre en fonction de l'ensoleillement et du vent. L'équipement est complet. Seuls bémols : nous aurions apprécié un peu plus de place pour les affaires personnelles (nous sommes restés 10 jours) et les courses, notamment dans le cuisine et - surtout - une meilleure literie dans la chambre principale, ma femme étant fragile du dos. Concernant M. Penot, il a été très réactif pour mettre au point les conditions de la location et a fourni un petit guide numérique par e-mail. Varaville est idéalement situé entre les plages du débarquement, Caen, Bayeux, Deauville...

Cet appartement est idéalement situé en bord de mer. Les enfants peuvent aller tous seuls à la plage. Situé dans une impasse, nous n'avions aucun bruit de la route. La propriété est bien entretenue. Nous avons passé une semaine reposante, dommage qu'il n'est pas fait très chaud. Nous y retournerons. Le propriétaire nous a été de bons conseils. Merci

Appartement idéalement situé avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Quel plaisir de regarder les chevaux courir sur la plage le matin. L'appartement est très bien équipé, rien à dire, tout est parfait. Je recommande cette location à tous les personnes désireuses de venir découvrir la Normandie, Honfleur, Deauville, Cabourg, Caen ne sont pas loin. A une prochaine fois.
