    Stayed at Rivertain Hotel Gyeongju for 2 nights, and it was easily my favorite hotel of the entire trip. One of the biggest advantages is its location. The hotel is situated right next to the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal, making it extremely convenient for travelers planning to visit other cities in South Korea. The check-in experience was pleasant, and the female staff member who assisted us was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. One feature I particularly loved was the LG Styler, which allowed us to refresh and steam our clothes after a long day of sightseeing. All necessary toiletries were also provided, making the stay even more convenient. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, and the quality was surprisingly good. We genuinely looked forward to it each morning before heading out to explore Gyeongju. Everything about the stay was comfortable and hassle-free, from the service to the facilities and location. If I ever return to Gyeongju, I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

    I stayed on the 6th floor suite room . The hotel is newly renovated and I will give it a 4 star . Comfortable bedding , clean WC and dry cleaning facility in the room . Comes with decent breakfast which is a kind gesture from the mgt . Very convenient location with lots of eateries in the vicinity. Highly recommend 👍👍👍👍👍

    Hotel and rooms modern vibe. Rooms seemed to have great sound deadening. Breakfast was Asian buffet so not alot of options. Yes I would stay again

    I stayed here for three nights and unfortunately had a pretty frustrating experience overall. I originally booked a room with one queen bed, but that didn’t end up happening. The first night we were placed in a room with two twin beds, and then moved again for the remaining nights into a room with two full beds. The biggest issue was the first night. The room had serious electrical problems—lights were flickering constantly, and the A/C remote didn’t work at all. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was no one at the front desk after midnight, so we couldn’t get help until the next day. We also had to request room service ourselves after going a full day without any service, which shouldn’t happen at this price point. That said, the woman working the front desk the next day was clearly doing everything she could. She seemed to be the only staff member on duty, handled multiple issues at once, and was professional and apologetic. She did mention that management is aware of the electrical problems, which is concerning considering guests are still being placed in those rooms. Once we moved rooms, things were better—the room was clean and the stay was fine from that point on, even though it still wasn’t the room type I originally booked. Overall, I’d probably look elsewhere for the price. There are too many inconsistencies and unresolved issues here to justify the cost.
