    Location: the Hill House (not the lake side resort) Room: Upgraded Ondol Overall rating: Below Average and would not recommend to a friend. Staff Service: 1/10 - not helpful. Very sullen. Difficult to work with. The Sauna closes at 8:00pm, but the staff refused me entry because I arrived at 7:02pm and was late for the “last entry time” even though I was the only guest there and I promised to leave by closing time. She quoted “I want to go home early” - lobby was only staffed during certain times in the day and unable to answer any questions by room phone Weird Policies: 1/10 - the hotel makes you bring home your own trash from the room, or subject you to a fine after you leave. - they tell you not to swim in the lake because of “dangerous chemicals” Food and Amenities: 1/10 - even though Agoda advertises an indoor and outdoor pool with 6 professional pictures on there site, they don’t openly disclose that the pools are only open during the Korean peak season (July 16-Aug30). - there was no restaurant or decent food options on site and no shuttle to take you to the alternate location for food. Room: 7/10 - great views of the surrounding area - very cold blowing AC. Nice! - clean and put together - futon beds were very uncomfortable with minimal padding

    We stayed here for 2 nights in winter and had a nice stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. There was a small convenience store on the bottom lever and there was a little cafe available most of the time. It is a little far from jecheon city. We caught a taxi from the train station and it took about 30 min and cost about AUD$35. Once at the hotel, the only way to get anywhere is by bus which is fine, but only comes about once every 45min. The cable car is only 5 mins away and back to jecheon took up to an hour. We had no luck ordering taxis from the hotel. There really isn’t anything nearby including restaurants or cafes.

    따뜻한 온돌방, 넓은 실내, 새것은 아니지만 깔끔한 숙소, 사람이 많이 없어서 조식뷔페와 수영장 미운영 아쉬움, 통합체크인으로 레이크호텔에서 체크인 후 이동해야하는점 아쉬움, 편의점 찜질방 외 다른 시설 없는것도 아쉬움

    The room was cozy size. We paid extra money and upgrade room. With beds. I recommend with beds room..( Not ondol..)
