    This hostel is located very close to the centre of the city and only 5 km from the ferry terminal to Japan. The manager Jin is extremely helpful and could attend to all my questions. A good place to be to start the 4-rivers cycle path

    I didn’t really feel welcome there. I thought they didn’t like me for whatever reason. It’s not the best hostel for socializing due to its layout. Kitchen | The kitchen is at the rooftop, the common area on the ground floor, so you always have this separation. The kitchen is old, it has old utensils and it’s very cold and it has a bad, dusty smell inside. It doesn’t make it really enjoyable to eat or sit there. The tables were dirty and there were no towels provided to clean anything up. Also I didn’t understand the rubbish separation. There was no signs or something. Room | the room is okay but the mattress was really old and had a noticeable sag in the middle which caused back pain for me. All in all I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s quite cold and not really comfortable in the common areas. The location is good as it’s close to the busy shopping streets but the vibe there was a bit off.
