    Highly recommend booking this place! Great location (around an 8min walk to the main Haeundae Beach) and the walk is safe and beautiful up the famous Dalmaji-Gil road. Guest services were prompt (though the phone didn't work) to fix any issues we had with missing amenities. The bed is a little hard and the shower leaked a little, but overall very clean and a great hotel for the price.

    Great view - love the busan blue :) Quiet location meaning you have to walk some distances to the restaurants and shops around the area. We always booked a taxi and travelled to other places.

    The view we had was great, but upon arrival, we noticed that the room wasn’t clean. Hair on the table, toothpaste splatter on the wall, spots in the tub, and spots on the pillow and bed sheets. We obviously talked to the front desk about it and the man was very polite and apologetic about it, but it was a bad start to a much needed vacation. The rest of the stay at Illua was general uneventful (which is good), but the air conditioner made noise. It doesn’t sound like a problem until it’s the dead of night and that constant noise from the AC is continuously droning in your ear. Overall, I give this place a 3 out of 5. Wonderful view, decent facilities, kind staff, but unclean room and frustrating appliance noise. I would expect this from a cheaper hotel, not this one.
