We were surprised to stay at such a nice hotel in Tenri. In the past our only options were far away in Nara or Kyoto, or dorm like hotels in town. Building, rooms, & staff are stellar. Our only ding is that it is not close enough to the train station. Need a car or taxi in order to get around, but that is minor. We would stay here again when in Tenri.

Fairfield is positioned as a quality hotel with unbeatable value. They don’t compromise quality in the room - clean, modern, quality bed/sleep. What they sacrifice to deliver value is to remove dining options, fancy lounge etc. Hencen great rooms, no-frills, and a communal area for coffee, microwave, toaster for bread etc. Just what I need when I visit Japan. Nice place to stay, go out and explore the city and a little cozy area to chat & have tea or an instant ramen bowl.

Love the hotel’s modern cleanliness, budget-friendly comfort, best mattresses, spacious room, scenic and peaceful location. Short drive from central Nara and nice tonkatsu restaurant near hotel.

The Fairfield product is so consistent from place to place with great smiling staff! Would stay every day here if I could! But I do like a soaking tub and that they don’t offer. The place is super clean and convenient. Love it!
