    We had a very comfortable stay here as a couple and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Kobe. The room was clean, tidy, quiet, and more spacious than we expected. Booking in advance also made the price very reasonable for the overall quality. Our room had both a bathtub and a separate shower area, with a well-designed wet and dry separation. It was great to be able to enjoy a relaxing bath after a long day out. One of the biggest highlights was the sleeping experience. The blackout curtains worked extremely well, and the bed was very comfortable. My partner is quite particular about sleep quality and was very impressed. Being able to take a nice bath and then get an excellent night's sleep made the stay especially enjoyable. The front desk staff spoke English fluently and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the complimentary face masks provided at check-in, as well as the drinking water available for guests. The location is excellent. There is a 24-hour Don Quijote just across the street, and the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and shops, including Ichiran Ramen, cafés, 7-Eleven, popular izakayas, and many local ramen restaurants. Sannomiya Station is also nearby, and the whole area around the station is lively with a huge variety of dining options. Overall, the hotel offers a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, location, and service. We had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Kobe.

    房間燈光充足，晚上有提供雪糕，浴室乾濕分離，日本酒店普遍較小，故空間雖小亦符合預期，地理位置方便，位處繁忙街道上，對面是Donki，街口有藥妝，生田神社亦是幾分鐘路程，隔音一般，晚上隱約聽到外面的噪音，總體而言是高CP值

    Not recommended for couples. We booked a Comfort Double, but the “double” bed was two twin mattresses pushed together—about 0.9 m each side. The hard join in the middle constantly digs into you, so you can’t sleep comfortably cuddled up, and intimacy is awkward on that ridge. Unless you’re each fine sleeping on half a bed, this room fails the basic promise of a double. When we raised it, the night duty manager (not regular front-desk staff) barely engaged: they refused to speak, only typed on a phone, then had a seemingly more junior colleague read the replies aloud to us. Front desk mostly kept apologizing with no real fix. The only “compensation” was a fire blanket placed under the sheet, which does nothing for the hard seam. Free breakfast and other compensation were refused, and they wouldn’t even give an extra bottle of water. The CANVAS PICK UP sign only says to ask the front desk for bottled water—it does not state a one-bottle-per-person-per-day limit—yet I was refused three bottles, while later I saw other check-in guests ask for three and get them immediately. Free ice cream also ends very early at 10pm and wasn’t available on checkout day, so there’s no way to enjoy it after a night out. Positives: excellent blackout curtains (with them closed, noon feels like midnight), good soundproofing, and a kettle with keep-warm. Still would not recommend, especially for couples.
