    Insanely beautiful beach, pool and rooms, the loveliest staff and vibes - we absolutely loved our 6 nights in paradise! I can’t stress enough how lovely and thoughtful the Passion team are, nothing is too much of a problem and they made us feel very welcome and at home from the start. The 2 bedroom villa was beautiful, immaculate and we all slept very well all week. The food is excellent. It’s pricier than elsewhere on the beach but it’s a step up in quality and ambience. (fyi food at Sweet Times and Sara Resort is also excellent but other places we tried on the beach not so much) Same with eg beer and fresh fruit juices, not the cheapest but you’re paying to sit in a more refined setting. The pool is 100% perfect, and the stretch of beach is like a paradise postcard… The team organised a really excellent boat trip for us for only $90 and we had a huge boat to ourselves (family of 4) and a lovely local guy who took us to snorkelling and fishing spots and the sunset. definitely worth it! Only one improvement- the breakfast coffee is not very good - you need to pay extra for a ‘proper coffee’ which is a shame. Otherwise 10/10 😊

    I recently stayed for two nights at La Passion by Achariyak, expecting a relaxing and high-quality experience. Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing and did not meet basic hospitality standards. Upon arrival, the boat pickup service from the port was appreciated. However, the check-in experience was very poor. As someone with experience in the hotel and customer service industry, I found it unacceptable that staff did not properly introduce the property. We were only briefly shown our room, without any explanation of hotel facilities, dining options, or even that breakfast was included. No recommendations or guidance were offered, which is a basic expectation in hospitality. There was also confusion regarding transportation. I asked about booking a boat to Koh Rong, and was told to book directly with the hotel, with only one departure time available. However, the next day, staff gave conflicting information and initially attempted to charge for a service that was previously described as included. Due to this miscommunication, we cancelled our plan entirely, which negatively affected our trip. The dining experience was also disappointing. On our first evening, we ordered two dishes and drinks, but only one dish and the drink was served. After waiting 40 minutes, the second dish still had not arrived. When we asked, staff admitted they had forgotten to enter the order. Even after that, service remained slow and inattentive. Additionally, staff behavior made us feel uncomfortable, as their attitude seemed judgmental and unprofessional. Overall, the lack of communication, poor service coordination, and inattentive staff significantly impacted our stay. This experience did not reflect the standard expected from a hotel of this reputation. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve staff training, communication, and service quality for future guests.
