    Close to JR, at city centre, though room is smaller, and there is a small but enjoyable, clean public bath

    Staff were reluctant to communicate in general. I had a translator device with me but they still showed little patience. The onsen workflow was not ideal. They don't provide towels at the onsen floor and require you to bring the dirty towels and pajamas back to your room. They could easily have a dirty towels/pajama collection bin on the onsen floor. I need to wait a long time for the lift most of the time. They should separate the service lift with the guest lift.

    there's only one elevator for everyone. it's a small hotel but only one tiny elevator is rough for everyone. especially around checkout time, it can only fit 3-4 person with luggage at a time. other than this the room is fine. you can grab a pillow of your liking next to the reception. we get to face the rivers and you can do some duck watching. and there's a tiny drink bar late night. the drinks are colourful and you mix your own cocktail in a paper cup.
